MESS Student Tutorials are back. Now that we have finally secured some money to run these we are currently looking for a few tutors (three to be exact) to run these tutorials. This semester there will be tutorials for three half subjects:
Mechanics 1 (Mechanics of Solids)
Mechanics 1 (Dynamics of Machines)
Thermofluids 2 (Thermodynamics)
We are looking for people with good communication skills, who have completed these subects with high honours grades. If you are interested please email us your CV and a copy of your academic transcript (unofficial is fine) by Friday 18th April.
MESS is in the process of securing some funding for a Final Year Dinner, which will supplement money made from ticket sales. So any final year student wishing to organise such an event please contact us at
. Obviously, this is not something which needs to be done any time soon, but it is worthy of consideration. Organisation of such an event is best started before the end of first semester.
